When it comes to carrying essential items in the field, humanity has come up with three main methods: on the back, over the shoulder, or on your hips. Backpacks are perfect for handling heavy loads, while shoulder bags give us quick and easy access to our stuff. But if you're looking for a combo of both, the belt rig is your go-to option. It's especially great because it keeps you cool by not trapping heat and sweat against your back, evenly distributes the weight, and keeps everything within easy reach.

The Foxtrot Mk2 Belt Rig is a versatile piece of gear that can be worn on its own or with handy suspenders that help spread the weight. You can easily adjust both the belt and the straps to make sure it fits you just right.

The Foxtrot Mk2 Belt Rig features a main compartment with open-top water bottle pockets and a partial belt on the sides. It even has MOLLE/PALS attachment points, so you can add on modular pouches like a medical kit, knife pouch, or cargo pouch. And it's compatible with ALICE and similar pouches too.

Inside the main compartment, you'll find two zippered pockets, along with an extra velcro-closed pocket on the front. Need more organization? No problem! You can add additional velcro-compatible inserts. Plus, if you want to bring along a rolled-up poncho, wet weather jacket, thin seating mat, or a tarp/ bivvy bag, you can easily secure them under the bungee on top of the main pocket or under the compression straps at the bottom.

The suspenders on the Foxtrot Mk2 belt rig can be adjusted from both the back and front, which means you'll have a stable load and the weight will be nicely distributed between your hips and shoulders. All in all, the Foxtrot Mk2 belt rig is the ideal choice for those shorter hikes. It's a practical and reliable solution to keep your essentials organized and within reach while you're out and about.

Great Kit

Another fantastic piece of kit from Helikon Tex. I think some people may think this looks a little military and it does a bit, thing is the military use stuff like this because it works. I use one of these along with the Numbat chest harness and its a great setup. I sinch a canvas roll up meat pack under the Foxtrot for when I need to carry a load of meat, this is great as I no longer need to take a backpack, but you could if you so desired. You can fit a ton of stuff in this bag and its extremly comfortable to wear. Highly recommend this bag, it does the job very well.
